House of Aspirants is a free, browser-based MCQ practice portal for Punjab Government competitive exams. It offers topic-wise quizzes, a daily challenge, mock tests, study guides and progress tracking, with no fees and no intrusive advertising.
Is House of Aspirants free to use?
Yes. Every quiz, mock test, study guide, bookmark and leaderboard feature is free. There is no paid tier, no trial and no card required, and the portal carries no intrusive advertising.
Which exams does House of Aspirants cover?
It is written for Punjab Police Constable, ASI, SI, Intelligence Assistant and Jail Warder, plus PSSSB, PPSC and PSPCL posts such as Patwari, Forest Guard, Clerk, Senior Assistant and Lab Attendant.
Do I need an account to start a quiz?
No. You can open any quiz and answer questions immediately. A Google sign-in is optional and is only needed to save scores, bookmarks, streaks and progress across devices.
Can I use the portal on my phone?
Yes. The interface is mobile-first, runs in any modern phone browser and can be installed to your home screen as an app. It loads quickly even on a slow 3G connection.
Does the portal work offline?
Yes. After your first visit the app shell is cached, so opened pages, saved quizzes and bookmarks keep working without an internet connection. New question sets still need a connection.
In which languages are the quizzes available?
Questions are written in English, with Punjabi used where the syllabus demands it, such as Punjabi grammar and Punjab-specific general knowledge. The interface itself stays in English.

No. House of Aspirants is an independent, unofficial study resource. It is not connected to or endorsed by any recruiting body, and official notifications must always be read on that body’s own website.
Does the portal cover PSSSB and PPSC exams?
Yes. The exam index links PSSSB and PPSC posts, including Patwari, Forest Guard, Clerk, Senior Assistant, Excise Inspector and Lab Attendant, to the right subject and topic practice.
Does it cover PSPCL recruitment?
Yes. The exam index links PSPCL recruitment practice to the relevant subjects, so you can drill general awareness, reasoning, quantitative aptitude and computer questions in the pattern those papers use.
Which subjects are covered?
Seven subjects: General Knowledge including Punjab GK, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, Punjabi, English, Computer and Current Affairs. Each subject is split into topics with its own quiz folder.

What is the Daily Quiz?
A new mixed challenge published every day, drawing questions from all seven subjects. It takes a few minutes, resets daily and counts towards your streak and your leaderboard position.
How do I start a quiz?
Open a subject, choose a topic and press Start. You can also jump straight to today’s challenge from the homepage. Answers are graded instantly and explanations appear after submission.
What is the difference between a quiz and a mock test?
A quiz is a short, topic-focused set. A mock test is a full-length, timed paper drawn from several subjects under exam conditions, which is the closest rehearsal to the real examination.
Can I set my own timer for a mock test?
Yes. The mock builder lets you choose the scope and duration, shuffle questions and decide how marks are awarded, so you can simulate a ten-minute section or a full paper.
What does the result page show?
Your score, percentage and time taken, a subject-wise breakdown, your weak and strong areas, and a question-by-question review with the correct answer and explanation for every item you attempted.
What are weak and strong areas?
They are the subjects or topics where your accuracy sits below or above your overall average across attempts. The result page highlights them so you know exactly what to revise next.
How does the leaderboard work?
Scores from completed quizzes are ranked by points, showing where you stand against other aspirants. Use it as motivation rather than as a measure of how prepared you really are.
Can I save difficult questions?
Yes. Bookmark any question while practising and it is stored on your device. Your bookmark list becomes a personal revision deck of exactly the facts you keep forgetting.

How should I prepare for Punjab GK?
Map the syllabus into fixed blocks such as history, geography, economy, culture and institutions, compress each into a one-page note, then revise on day 2, day 7 and day 21 while practising MCQs daily.
How many hours a day should I study?
Consistency beats volume. Two focused hours a day with active recall and daily MCQs outperform eight passive hours. Protect the habit first and extend the duration only once the schedule is stable.
How do I stay updated on current affairs?
Follow one reliable source for ten minutes a day, note only what an examiner would ask, revise monthly and turn headlines into MCQs. The daily quiz and the Telegram feed both support this.
How do I improve reasoning speed?
Learn one method per question type, then drill timed sets until that method becomes automatic. Speed comes from recognising the pattern instantly, not from reading the question faster.
What is the best revision method?
Spaced repetition with past questions. Re-read your one-page notes on days 2, 7 and 21, re-solve your bookmarks every week, and take a full mock test each Sunday.
Should I take mock tests before finishing the syllabus?
Yes. Early mocks show which sections carry the most marks for you and stop you perfecting low-yield topics. Treat your first few tests as diagnostics rather than as a judgement.
How do I improve my English score?
Read one paragraph a day, learn ten words in context rather than in isolated lists, and drill grammar rules through MCQs until you can apply them without stopping to think.
Is Punjabi required for Punjab exams?
Punjabi is a scoring, high-yield section in most Punjab Government papers. Practise it as seriously as GK, because grammar, idioms and vocabulary become easy marks once they are part of your routine.
How do I analyse my mistakes?
After every test, read the explanation for each wrong answer and note the reason: fact forgotten, concept unclear or careless slip. Bookmark the question and track the pattern across three tests.
What should I do in the last 30 days before the exam?
Stop adding new material. Revise your one-page notes, re-solve your bookmarks, take two or three full mock tests a week, and fix your sleep and exam-day routine before the paper.

What is stored, where it lives, and how to get rid of it.
Why does the portal ask me to sign in with Google?
Sign-in is optional. It is only used to sync your scores, bookmarks and streaks so they survive a new device or cleared browser data. You can practise the whole site without it.
What data does House of Aspirants store?
Progress, scores, bookmarks and settings are stored in your browser, and sync to your account only if you sign in. No payment details are collected, because nothing on the portal is sold.
Is my score or rank public?
Only leaderboard entries are visible to other visitors. Your bookmarks, detailed results, attempt history and browsing activity stay private to your own account.
How do I delete my data?
Clearing your browser data or signing out removes local progress. Use the contact form if you would like your synced account data deleted, and it will be removed.
Do you sell my data?
No. House of Aspirants does not sell, rent or share personal data with advertisers. Analytics are aggregated, and no advertising network follows you around the web from this site.

How do I contact you or report an error?
Use the contact form or reply on Telegram. Include the question number and the topic, and the correction is reviewed before it is published with the next update.
How often are new quizzes published?
New topics and question sets are added regularly, and a fresh Daily Challenge is published every day. The Telegram channel announces each release the moment it goes live.
Can I request a topic or a question?
Yes. Send the subject and topic through the contact form or on Telegram. Requests are queued by demand and published as new quiz folders.
