1. Overview
House of Aspirants Quiz Portal is a static website. Starting a quiz asks you to sign in with Google; when you do, your Google name, e-mail, profile photo and quiz statistics are stored in Google Firebase so your progress and rankings follow your account. Everything else stays in your browser — there are no passwords and no tracking cookies.
2. Data stored on your device
- • Quiz answers in progress — so you can resume after a refresh.
- • Results, progress & streaks — for your dashboard and badges.
- • Bookmarks — questions you save for revision.
- • Theme preference — dark or light mode.
- • Leaderboard attempts — kept in this browser, and mirrored to your Google account when signed in.
All of this lives in your browser's
localStorage. Clearing your browser data removes it,
and the “Reset progress” button deletes it instantly. Signed-in
students can ask us to delete their Firebase account data at any
time via the contact page.
3. What we do NOT collect
- • No phone numbers, addresses or payment details
- • No passwords (sign-in uses your Google account)
- • No tracking cookies
- • No selling or sharing of data (we have none to sell)
4. Third-party links
The site links to Telegram, Instagram and YouTube. Their own privacy policies apply once you click through.
5. Advertising
Advertisement areas are plain embedded banners. If a third-party ad network is added later, its own policy will be disclosed in this section. No popups or popunders are used.
6. Offline storage (PWA)
A service worker caches quiz files so the site works offline. This cache is local to your browser and can be cleared at any time from your browser settings.
